Dejan Terzic, born in 1970 in Banja Luka, was a German drummer known for his work in modern creative jazz. He began playing piano at age six and switched to drums at twelve. Terzic studied at the Nürnberger Konservatorium and later with Bill Elgart at the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg. Terzic's career took off in the early 1990s when he joined the Bavarian First Herd led by Dusko Goykovich and the Bujazzo. He founded the Sunday Night Orchestra with Sebastian Strempel in 1994. Throughout his career, Dejan Terzic collaborated with notable artists including Bob Berg, Franco Ambrosetti, Enrico Rava, and Sonny Fortune. His discography included albums such as Silent Dancer (2021).
