Henning Pertiet (born 1965 in Hamburg) is a German blues and boogie-woogie pianist, guitarist, and singer. Influenced by Axel Zwingenberger and his uncle Gottfried Böttger, he established a reputation within the Hamburg music scene. From 1993 to 1996, he performed with the Mojo Blues Band, contributing to the albums Blues Roll On! and Rhythm & Blues Party. He launched a solo career in 1996 with Boogie Woogie, followed by My Style in 1999. Pertiet later expanded his repertoire into free improvisation and modern jazz, utilizing the organ and Buchla synthesizers, as documented on the 2018 release Chaosmagic. His collaborations include work with Red Holloway, Abi Wallenstein, and Vince Weber. A 2017 recipient of the German Blues Award, he released the anniversary album Music is my Business/35 years of Blues & Boogie Woogie in 2024.
