Infernal Torment was a Danish death metal band formed in 1992 in Silkeborg. The group initially gained attention with their early releases, Incapability on the Cross and Instincts, which led to a record deal with Diehard Music Worldwide. Their debut album, Man's True Nature, released in 1995, showcased the band's unique sound and controversial lyrics. The album featured the distinctive drumming style of Martin Boris, who left the band shortly after its release. Infernal Torment continued with a new lineup, releasing their second album, Birthrate Zero, in 1998. Following this, the band disbanded, with members going on to form other notable acts such as Dawn of Demise and Illdisposed. In 2021, Man's True Nature was re-recorded and released by Emanzipation Productions.
