Hiroshima Mon Amour, a new wave group from Teramo, Italy, was formed in 1994 by Carlo Furii, Antonio Campanella, and Vincenzo Marchetti. Their early work included several demos before the debut album Anno zero in 1999. Their second album Dedicata, released in 2000, featured a controversial cover of the song "Siberia" by Diaframma. This period also marked the departure of the original lineup and a hiatus for the band. In 2004, they celebrated their tenth anniversary with the anthology album Cambio 1995-2001 and embarked on the Embryo Tour, featuring a new lineup with only Furii remaining from the original members. They released the albums Quinta stagione in 2011 and Australasia in 2015. In 2024, Hiroshima Mon Amour embarked on a tour with Ozric Tentacles.
