Cólera is a Brazilian punk rock band from São Paulo that formed in 1979. The group was established after a meeting between Hélio and Redson Pozzi at the São Bento station. They released their debut studio album, Tente Mudar o Amanhã, (1985) and followed it with the recording Pela Paz em Todo Mundo (1986), which sold 85,000 copies. After the death of Pozzi in 2011, the ensemble resumed activity in 2012 with Wendel Barros as the lead vocalist. Their album Acorde! Acorde! Acorde! (2018) was recognized by the Associação Paulista de Críticos de Arte as one of the top 25 Brazilian albums of the first half of that year.
