Good Clean Fun are an American hardcore punk band from Washington, D.C., that formed in 1997. The ensemble took their name from the Descendents song of the same title and gained a following after releasing the spoof track “The MySpace Song”. They use self-irony to spread messages regarding veganism, straight edge, feminism, and optimism. Their early recordings include the EP Shopping for a Crew (1997) and Who Shares Wins (1998). After releasing three records, they announced their disbandment in 2002 and released the compilation Positively Positive 1997-2002 (2002). The band conducted a reunion tour in 2004 and released the studio album Between Christian Rock and a Hard Place (2006). They followed this with the rarities collection Crouching Tiger, Moshing Panda (2007). The band performed in more than 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
