Shit & Chanel, later known as Shit & Chalou, was a Danish all-female band formed in Aarhus. Their lineup consisted of Anne Linnet, Astrid Elbek, Lis Sørensen, Lone Poulsen, and Ulla Tvede Eriksen. Their debut album Shit & Chanel (1976) included the hit song "Smuk og dejlig", which became a classic rock song in Denmark. The band released several albums, including Chanel no. 5 (1977), Tak for sidst (1978), and Dagen har så mange farver (1979). In 1981, due to legal threats from the fashion brand Chanel, they changed their name to Shit & Chalou and disbanded in 1982. A compilation album, Shit og Chalou 1974 - 1982 (2012), peaked at number 5 on the Danish charts.
