Linet Menaşi, born on March 5, 1975, in Israel, is a Turkish-Jewish singer known for her performances in pop and arabesque music. She began her career at the age of five, singing with her mother, Leyla Özgecan, a Turkish classical music singer. In 1993, Menaşi participated in the Kdam Eurovision, aiming to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest with "Aniana." Her first album, Linet, was released in Turkey in 1995. At 17, she met Orhan Gencebay and released an album of his songs, earning two gold certifications. Menaşi returned to Israel between 1999 and 2006, recording albums in Hebrew and opening a candy store. She resumed her career in Turkey with Paylaşmak İstiyorum (2009) and continued releasing albums like Kalbimin Sahibi Sen (2011), Yorum Farkı (2012), and Yorum Farkı II (2015). In 2021, she performed with the Jerusalem Orchestra East&West at the Arabesque Festival in Akko.
