Grischa Lichtenberger, born on May 16, 1983 in Bielefeld, Germany, is a German artist and musician whose expertise lies in electronic music, installation, and multimedia. His musical compositions began appearing in 2005 with the album Die Wiederholung der Geschichte der amerikanischen Heimatlosigkeit. In 2009, he released the EP ~Treibgut, marking a significant step in his career. Lichtenberger's work has been featured on international festivals such as Elektra and Mutek Montreal, Electron Festival Geneva, Sou Festival Tbilisi, and A l’Arme Festival Berlin. He composed music for the contemporary Israeli dance ensemble Batsheva Dance Company’s choreography Last Work by Ohad Naharin in 2015, which received enthusiastic acclaim both locally and internationally. Notable collaborations include working with Jesse Osborne-Lanthier on CSLM | Conversations Sur Lettres Mortes and the band project with Philipp Gropper, Gaia Mattiuzzi, and Moritz Baumgärtner for the album Re: Phgrp.
