Princess Agnes Yikou Maroga, born on April 6, 1997, in Libreville, Gabon, is a multi-talented artist: Model, Singer, songwriter, and proud Gabonese.
Coming from a family of musicians, Princess grew up immersed in music. She began singing at the age of 6 and started writing her own songs by 8. Being raised in a musical household made her love for music truly innate. At home, reggae is the heartbeat— the genre performed by her parents, who are known in Gabon for their contribution to the ragga scene — With icons like Peter Tosh, Bob Marley, and Lucky Dube shaping her earliest inspirations.
Yet her musical universe quickly expanded. Influenced by a wide range of artists including Lauryn Hill, Tracy Chapman, Cyndi Lauper, Lokua Kanza, The Westlife, Don Williams, Brenda Fassie, Oumou Sangaré , Francis Cabrel, Claude François, Jean-Jacques Goldman and Miriam Makeba, Princess developed a rich and eclectic artistic identity.
Alongside music, she also carved out a path in the modeling industry, eventually becoming not only a model but also the founder of her own modeling agency—a step that confirmed her leadership and vision in the fashion world.
