La Barra is an Argentine cuarteto ensemble formed in 1994 in Cordoba. The group was led by vocalist Javier Brizuela. The band performed its debut on September 24, 1994, at Club Las Palmas. The ensemble signed with Sony Music and released its self-titled debut studio album, La Barra, in 1994, which received a gold certification. In 1995, the group released the recordings “Así me gusta a mí” and “Es de Córdoba”, which both reached gold status. Subsequent recordings included the studio albums Siempre en onda (1996) and Fiesta inolvidable (1996), the latter reaching platinum status. The group received an award for selling over 250,000 discs. Its discography included the recordings “Amor infiel” and “La carta”. Other albums included A toda fiesta (1998), Y... dale! (2000), and El rompehuesos (2001). The ensemble became inactive in June 2025.
