Blaž Lenger, born on December 6, 1919, in Draganci, Podravske Sesvete, (now Croatia), was a folk singer known for his performances of traditional songs from northern Croatia. From an early age, influenced by his musically inclined parents, Lenger began performing with the local group Vlašički, initially playing the accordion before switching to bass. His breakthrough came when he joined Štef Ivančan's music group in Novo Virje, gaining experience that led to forming his own ensemble, Lengeri. The group recorded several notable songs, including "Podravino moja mila" and "Potočić maleni", and released EPs such as Podravino Moja Mila (1967) and Divni Dani (1968). Lenger retired from performing in 1977 but continued singing with a group named after him. He died on September 26, 2006.
