Pedro Costa is a Canadian television composer and music producer born as Pedro Pinto. He launched his professional recording career in 2008 with the single “A beira da estrada” (2008), followed by the alternative rock extended play The Light (2009). The title track achieved airplay in Poland and reached number 11 on the national singles chart in May 2009. In 2010, the track “Fooled Again?” (2010) was featured on the CBC Radio 1 program Bandwidth. Costa issued his debut studio album, Discovery (2011). His music has appeared in television series soundtracks, including his rendition of “God’s Gonna Cut You Down” (2013) for the program Weed Country and the track “Finding My Wings” (2017) for the series 13 Reasons Why. His discography includes the studio recordings Made for TV (2015) and Awake in a Dream (2019).
