Nicolas de Angelis, born in 1949 in Saint-Cloud, France, is a classical guitarist. He began studying guitar at the Paris Academy at age ten and quickly developed a passion for the instrument. By sixteen, he was part of a talented group of French musicians that included Michel Berger. At eighteen, he started collaborating with various pop stars such as Julien Clerc, Sylvie Vartan, Fabienne Thibault, and composer Jean-Christian Michel. In 1981, Nicolas de Angelis released his debut solo LP Quelques Notes Pour Anna, which achieved gold record sales within a few weeks. This success paved the way for subsequent albums, including Amour mon Amour (1982), Grand Concert, and Guitar Guitar, both in 1985.
