Rhonda, a neo soul band based in Hamburg, Germany, formed in 2012 after the rock band Trashmonkeys disbanded. Four members of Trashmonkeys—Dennis Rux, Offer Stock, Gunnar Riedel, and Jan Fabricius—came together, with Milo Milone, previously the bassist, taking on vocal duties. Dennis Rux was later replaced by Ben Schadow, and Jan Fabricius became the new bassist. The band's debut album Raw Love was released on July 25, 2014, and entered the German Album Charts. Their second album, Wire, followed in January 2017, produced by Gregor Hennig at Studio Nord Bremen. Rhonda reached their highest chart position with You Could Be Home Now in 2019, peaking at number 51 in Germany. The band's most recent release is Forever Yours (2023), which was preceded by an EP of the same name in January 2023.
