Lenka Dusilová is a Czech singer-songwriter born on December 28, 1975, in Karlovy Vary. She began her career in 1988 with the children's choir Bambini di Praga and later led the rock band Sluníčko, which won the Marlboro Rock '94 competition. Dusilová released her debut solo album, Lenka Dusilová, in 2000 and won the Anděl Award for Female Singer of the Year. She provided guest vocals for the Čechomor album Proměny, which received the Album of the Year award in 2001. Following the releases of Spatřit světlo světa in 2002 and UnEarthEd in 2004, her 2005 album Mezi světy achieved gold status and won the Anděl Award for Best Rock Album. In 2008, she launched the project Eternal Seekers with Beata Hlavenková and Clarinet Factory. Dusilová released the album Baromantika in 2011 and subsequently formed a group of the same name. In 2020, she released Řeka, which won Anděl Awards for Album of the Year and Song of the Year for “Vlákna”.
