Freud Marx Engels & Jung, a Finnish rock and country band, formed in 1984 in Seinäjoki by singer Pekka "Freak Out" Myllykoski and guitarist Arto "Pilli" Pajukallio. They released their debut album Rintaan pistää, sukat haisee, enkä pidä Jeesuksesta (1986). Their music evolved from country to include various genres, with notable songs like "Särkynytsydämiset" (1986) and "Teksasiin" (1986). They covered numerous artists, translating songs by Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, and Bob Dylan into Finnish. Throughout their career, Freud Marx Engels & Jung released over a dozen albums, including Lauluja rakastamisen vaikeudesta (1995), and collaborated with artists like Kari Peitsamo on Amerikkalaisia unelmia (2005). Their album Helmet, hitit ja hutit II (2015) was released before Myllykoski's death from cancer on April 22, 2017, which led to their dissolution.
