Seppo Reino Juhani Rannikko, also known as Seppo Rannikko, was born in April 6, 1928, in Tampere, Finland, a Finnish musician. He began his musical journey in the mid-1950s with Acre Kari's band and later performed with orchestras led by Ossi Runne and Olli Häme. In the 1960s, Rannikko collaborated with various jazz ensembles and ventured into rock music. He worked as a producer, composer, and arranger for television shows like Zero – Lentävä lautanen and at EMI Finland. His notable albums include Sahara (1976) and Disco Jungle (1977), both released under Fonovox. Rannikko's health issues led him to retire from professional music in the mid-1980s. He passed away on November 25, 2000, in Tampere.
