Marek Napiórkowski, born on October 27, 1969, in Jelenia Góra, Poland, is a jazz guitarist and composer. His career began with collaborations that included notable artists such as Pat Metheny and Richard Bona. In 2005, he released his debut solo album NAP under Universal Music Poland, which featured Leszek Możdżer, Anna Maria Jopek, and Henryk Miśkiewicz. This was followed by the acoustic album Wolno, released in 2007, which achieved gold status in Poland. In 2011, Napiórkowski released KonKubiNap with his trio. In 2013, he put out Up! featuring Clarence Penn and Adam Pierończyk. His album Celuloid, a collaboration with Artur Lesicki, was released in 2015. Napiórkowski has been recognized as the Jazz Guitarist of the Year from 2012 to 2015 by readers of Jazz Forum.
