Ignacio González Rodríguez, known professionally as Shotta, was born on July 25, 1984, in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. He is a Spanish rapper and singer, and the brother of fellow MC ToteKing. Rodríguez's early career began with a collaboration on Triple XXX’s debut album and the release of the album Tu madre es una foca (2002) with his brother under the name ToteKing & Shotta. His solo career started with the album La Selva (2004), followed by the EP Los raperos nunca mueren (2007). Subsequent albums include Sangre (2008), Profundo (2011), Flowesia (2014), Para mi gente (2016), and Salvaje (2018). His work features collaborations with artists including Morodo and Mala Rodríguez. In 2017, Rodríguez participated in the battle rap event Línea 16 XL in Mexico.
