Marcus Lambkin, known professionally as Shit Robot, was born in Ireland in 1971 and is an electronic musician and DJ. While working as a DJ in New York in 2000, he befriended James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and started a DJ partnership with him. In 2004, Lambkin moved to rural Germany and began producing his own music. His debut single, "Wrong Galaxy", was released in 2006 on DFA Records, marking the start of his solo career. His first album, From The Cradle To The Rave, followed in 2010, featuring contributions from Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip and James Murphy. Notable singles include "Chasm" (2007), "I Got A Feeling" (2010), and "Tuff Enuff" (2010). In March 2014, he released his second album, We Got a Love, which included the single "Do That Dance". His third album, What Follows, was released in 2016.
