Mad Conductor, an experimental hip hop group from Center Valley, Pennsylvania, was formed in 2005 by MC Devlin (Chris Devlin) and producer MC Kinney (Dan McKinney). Their debut release was the EP Mechanical Claw in May 2005. In June 2007, they released their first full-length album, Renegade Space Rock. After relocating to New Orleans in 2008, Mad Conductor released several EPs and singles, including Central America (2010) and "Lethal Protector" (2011). In 2012, they successfully funded their album MC Rises (2013) through Kickstarter. The band reformed in Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2018, releasing the EP Space Rock Steady in May 2015 and performing their final show in August 2018 in Brooklyn.
