Francesca Lombardo, born on August 27, 1978, in Castiglione Delle Stiviere, Italy, is an electronic music producer and DJ. She studied vocal techniques and piano at the Conservatorium of Music in Italy. In 1999, Francesca Lombardo moved to London and began her career using the alias Jackie Misfit, playing at underground techno parties. She co-founded Lokomotiv Recordings in 2007, releasing her first EP, The Dark Side Of The Spoon, under this label in 2008. In 2009, Lombardo started her own imprint, Echolette, and released her EP Kundi La Mapendo as Jackie Misfit under this label. She signed with Crosstown Rebels, then released her EP titled Changes under her real name in 2012. Notable performances include multiple dates on the Crosstown Rebels Rebel Rave world tour in 2013, appearances at Fabric London, DC10 in Ibiza, and the Burning Man festival. Her notable releases included the album Life of Leaf (2019), as well as EPs Eyes of Nature (2012) and Magic Moment (2022).
