Syalini Sreekumar is one of the most sought-after musicians in the Carnatic music field today. She has a consistent record of well-received concerts and has traveled extensively within Kerala and almost 5+ cities outside Kerala, propagating the divine art of Carnatic music. Syalini also runs highly successful music classes online for students across the globe.
Syalini’s musical journey started in Chettikulangara, Alappuzha at the tender age of three and a half and began to conquer stages since she was five. So far, she has performed over 5000+ stages, including renowned venues such as Mukambika, Tirupati, and Guruvayur. She has had the rare privilege of singing in front of the great Maestro of Indian Music, Dr. K. J. Yesudas, and considers sharing the stage with him a blessing in her life.
Her musical Guru is Smt. Mathangi Sathyamurthy. It was her disciplined training and unwavering belief in the importance of the fundamental lessons that allowed Syalini to immerse herself in the vast knowledge of her Guru’s Carnatic Music. Syalini also performed across Kerala on many stages under the name of her group Shaleenam. She has also performed extensively at the Kerala State Youth Festivals from 5th grade till 12th, achieving the honor of becoming the top point holder for representing the Alappuzha district in both Kathakali and Carnatic Music.

She is known for her unswerving loyalty to tradition, wise sense of aesthetics, and sincerity in presentation. She believes her responsibility as an artist is to elevate the listeners’ experience while being true to the art form.
Driven by passion, pursuing music has given her life’s purpose. It is her yearning for excellence that prompts her total immersion in music. Recently, Syalini sang a song for an upcoming Bollywood movie set to be released in the coming months. Additionally, she has recorded several other projects that are yet to be unveiled, promising to showcase her extraordinary talent on the grand stage of Indian music. These forthcoming releases are highly anticipated and are expected to further establish her as a rising star in the industry.
