Schlachthofbronx is a German electronic music duo formed in January 2008 in Munich. The group originally consisted of Benedikt Wiessmeier, Jakob Döring, and Christoph Brandner, who used stage names including “Subbass-Commandante Graf von Stierenfroed”. After Brandner left the group in 2010, Wiessmeier and Döring continued as a duo. Their debut studio recording, Schlachthofbronx, appeared in 2009 on Disko B and included the track “Schorschl Take 3”. The ensemble performed at festivals such as Sónar, Roskilde, and Melt. Its discography included the EPs Nasty Bass and Chambacu (Remixes) (2011) and the studio recordings Dirty Dancing (2012) and Rave and Romance (2014). The duo collaborated with artists including Snoop Dogg, M.I.A., and Major Lazer. In 2019, Schlachthofbronx received the Förderpreis Musik der Landeshauptstadt München. The duo released the album Haul & Pull Up in 2017.
