Linda Maria Irene NorrgÄrd, known professionally as Linda Pritchard, was born on May 19, 1983, in Sweden. She is a singer and dancer who attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. Pritchard's early career included participating in Idol 2008, where she reached the qualifying round. Her first single "Fast Car," a cover of Tracy Chapman's song, was featured on the compilation album Absolute Music 61. In 2010, she participated in Melodifestivalen with the song "You're Making Me Hot-Hot-Hot" and finished fifth in the first semi-final. Her debut album, Alive, was released in 2011, and peaked at number 21 on the Swedish charts.
