Daniel Stelter, born in 1977 in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a guitarist and composer known for his work in jazz. He began playing the guitar at eight, influenced by his siblings, and participated in Jugend musiziert (Youth Music) and Jugend jazzt (Youth Jazz) competitions. After high school, Stelter studied jazz guitar under Norbert Scholly at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and was part of the German National Youth Jazz Orchestra, touring with them and appearing on their 1999 album On Tour. In 2008, he formed his own quartet, releasing several albums, including Homebrew Songs in 2009 and Krikel Krakel (2010). Stelter has collaborated with various artists such as Joo Kraus, Till Brönner, and Annett Louisan, and appeared on the VOX show Sing meinen Song starting in 2014. His work is featured on albums by Sarah Connor, Christina Stürmer, and Wolfgang Haffner.
