La Stampa is a German pop band established in 2008. The group's members reside in Berlin, Hamburg, and Geneva. The quintet was founded by Thomas Hug (keyboards), Jörg Heiser (guitar, vocals), Günter Reznicek (synthesizer, vocals), Jan Verwoert (bass, vocals), and Jons Vukorep (drums, vocals). The ensemble’s lineup also features vocalist Angi Vukorep-Harrer. Following a series of concerts in Berlin, the band signed with the label Staatsakt in 2009. The group's debut studio album, Pictures Never Stop, was produced by Thies Mynther and recorded at Clouds Hill Recordings in Hamburg. Released in February 2010, the record includes the tracks "You Were Imagining Things" and "Fred, so einfach ist das nicht". The band's second studio album, Bonjour Trieste, was produced by Tobias Levin and released in late 2018 through the London-based label The Vinyl Factory.
