Tubbe, a German electropunk duo consisting of Klaus Scheuermann and Henri Jakobs, was formed in Munich in early 2010. Initially active in the queer rave scene, Tubbe gained traction with their debut single "Liebe Fertig" (2013) and signed to Audiolith Records. Their first album, Eiscafe Ravetto, released also in 2013, featured songs like "We Won't Be Friends" and established them in the electropop genre. The duo's second album, Keine Arbeit Lieber Tanzen (2015), showcased collaborations with Torsun from Egotronic and jazz pianist Joachim Kühn, and included notable tracks like "Punkopa" and "In Berlin." Though widely reported as disbanded in April 2020, Tubbe announced in September 2023 that they had never actually split and released their third album, Bankrott in Utopia, later that year.
