JJ Project is a South Korean boy band comprised of Lim Jae-beom and Park Jin-young. The duo had met whilst both were actors in the South Korean TV teen drama series 'Dream High 2'.
Their management company encouraged the two young actors to capitalise on their rising fame and JJ Project was born with the duo releasing their debut single, 'Bounce', in May 2012. A measure of the actors' appeal can be gauged from the YouTube viewing figures for the song's accompanying video which in two days had exceeded one million views. The single reached number 14 in the Billboard World Chart and sold over a quarter of a million copies.
To date Jae-beom and Jin-young have released just one album, 'Bounce', which was released in 2012 at the same time as the single of the same name. Since 2014 the two actors have employed their respective talents in the seven-piece vocal band Got7 and have enjoyed significant chart success with the group.
