Mustafa Yıldızdoğan, born May 10, 1966, in Kadınhanı, Konya, Turkey, is a Turkish folk music singer, composer, songwriter, and actor. He began playing the bağlama at age 16 and started writing texts and poems. His music career took off when he was discovered by the singer Ozan Sefai while working as a shepherd in his hometown. He released the debut album Doğuyoruz Ufuklardan in 1991, followed by his breakthrough album Türkiyem in 1993, which gained him recognition both within Turkey and among Turkish communities abroad. He released notable albums including Bu Vatan Kimin? in 1998, Nadas in 2014, and Hasat in 2017. His song "Türkiyem" became particularly popular among Turkish immigrants upon their return to Turkey. His work often reflected his personal experiences and cultural heritage, with lyrics predominantly in Turkish.
