Moskwa TV were a German electronic band from Frankfurt am Main that formed in the early 1980s. The ensemble was founded by the musicians Talla 2XLC and RaHen and are famous for a techno sound that was considered ahead of its time. Talla 2XLC achieved early professional recognition as a DJ playing works by Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode before establishing the group. Their discography includes the debut single “Generator 7/8” (1985), followed by “Tekno Talk” (1985). Their debut studio recording Dynamics & Discipline (1985) was produced alongside Axel Henninger and Kurt Ader. The vocalist Ion Javelin joined the group during the production of their first album. The ensemble subsequently released the studio recording Blue Planet (1987), which led to internal conflicts and the departure of Talla 2XLC. Following the departure of Henninger in 1988 due to label disputes, Javelin retained the rights to the band name. They released the studio recordings Javelin (1991) and a reissue titled Dynamics + Discipline (1992).
