Mauresca Fracàs Dub, a French reggae group from Montpellier, was formed in 1999. The band consists of five members: Chab, Benezet, Drac, Inti, and Massimo. Influenced by groups such as the Fabulous Trobadors and Massilia Sound System, Mauresca Fracàs Dub blends French reggae with Occitan hip-hop, singing in Occitan, French, or Spanish. Their debut album Francament was self-produced and released in 2001. The group followed this with Contèsta (2005), Bartàs (2008), and Cooperativa (2010). In 2014, they released their fifth album, Riòta, and in 2018, they released Big Sur. The band has also contributed to various compilations and live performances.
