Simone Tomassini is an Italian singer-songwriter. He debuted at the 2004 Festival di Sanremo with “E’ Stato tanto tempo fa,” placing 12th, and became the only newcomer to participate in three stages of Festivalbar 2004. Following this success, he opened for Vasco Rossi's “Buoni o Cattivi” tour and released his debut album, Giorni, which included the hit single “Il mondo che non c’è.” In 2005, Tomassini competed in the second season of Music Farm, finishing 3rd, and released his second album, Buon Viaggio. This was followed by performances at Festivalbar 2005 and the Tim Tour 2005. His subsequent albums include Sesso Gioia Rock ’n’ Roll (2006) and the a self-titled release in 2011.
