Nareh Arghamanyan, born on January 21, 1989, in Vanadzor, Armenia, is a pianist who began her piano studies at age five. At eight, she enrolled in the Tchaikovsky Music School for Talented Children in Yerevan. In 2004, she became the youngest student admitted to the University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Arghamanyan gained international recognition in 2008 when she won the Montreal International Musical Competition. She has performed extensively with orchestras such as the Armenian Philharmonic, National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, Orchestre Métropolitain, Vienna Symphony, and Vancouver Symphony. She has collaborated with conductors including Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Xian Zhang, and James Gaffigan. Her recordings include works by Liszt and Rachmaninov for the Pentatone and Analekta labels.
