Claire Séverac, born Claire Séverac on April 9, 1948 in Béziers, France was a French singer. She began her music career by joining SACEM as an author in 1968. Her debut album Ainsi Soit Vie was released in 1979 and included the single "Cette Fille De Passage." Séverac achieved notable success with the duet "Amoureux Sans Bagages" featuring American actor and singer David Soul in 1985. She collaborated with various artists, including Donna Summer and Crystal Gayle during her time working in Los Angeles from 1985 to 1997. Her final album Dream With Me was released as a mini-CD in 1988. Séverac passed away on December 25, 2016 due to digestive cancer.
