Bernhard Klapprott, born in 1964 in Hagen, Germany, is a harpist known for his contributions to classical music. He studied cembalo at the universities of Cologne and Amsterdam under Hugo Ruf and Bob van Asperen, and organ with Michael Schneider and Ewald Kooiman. He began his teaching career at the University of Dortmund and was appointed as a professor at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar in 1994, where he taught cembalo and historical keyboard instruments. His discography includes notable albums such as Ihr Christen Seid Erfreut (2011) and Six Sonatas (2012). He has received several awards, including the first prize at the 10th International Orgelwettbewerb in 1991.
