Celer is an American drone music project formed in 2005 in Huntington Beach, California. The ensemble was founded by Will Long and Danielle Baquet-Long. Between 2005 and 2007, the duo produced 22 self-released recordings featuring handmade and hand-painted packaging. The project’s discography included the studio recordings White Prism (2004), Ariill (2005), Discourses Of The Withered (2008), and Capri (2009). Following these releases, the project appeared on various record labels and in art installations. Long collaborated with artists including Yui Onodera on the recording Generic City (2010) and Machinefabriek. He released the album Climbing Formation in 2013. Baquet-Long died of heart failure on July 8, 2009. Since that time, Long has operated Celer as a solo project.
