Francisco Muñoz y Martínez, known professionally as Paco Muñoz, was born on January 5, 1939, in Valencia, Spain. After leaving the priesthood, he began his career as a singer and musician, influenced by figures like Ovidi Montllor. His first public performance took place at Teatro Micalet in November 1976, followed by the release of his debut album La llibertat la picaren in 1978. Muñoz gained recognition for his dedication to children's music, starting with a festival in Valencia's Jardines de Viveros in 1984. He released several albums under his own label P.M. Produccions, including Amor i amor (1986) and Promentença (1984). Muñoz received several awards, including the Premio Ovidi Montllor in 2001 and the Micalet de Honor in Valencia in 2007. He announced his retirement from performing in 2008 but continued to release music for children until his final concert in Bocairente on August 16, 2008.
