Lisa López is a Tejano music singer. She gained prominence with her debut single "Si Quieres Verme Llorar," released under the Hacienda Record label and produced by Rick Garcia, which reached Number 1 on the U.S. Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart in 1982. López also became the first female Tejano singer to appear on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart in October 1981, marking a significant milestone for female musicians in the genre. López won multiple Tejano Music Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Entertainer of the Year, and Song of the Year in 1982. She signed with Sony Discos in the early 1990s but did not achieve chart success during this period.
