Polish metal band Darzamat, was founded in 1995. Their early releases included In the Flames of Black Art and Oniriad. In 2004, Darzamat released Semidevilish to critical acclaim. However, it was the following year's Transkarpatia, produced by Andy LaRocque of King Diamond, that marked a significant breakthrough, leading to appearances at major European festivals. In 2007, they performed at Metalmania Festival, documented on the DVD Live Profanity (Visiting the Graves of the Heretics). The band signed with Massacre Records in 2009, releasing their concept album Solfernus’ Path, featuring guest contributions from Andy LaRocque. Notable songs included "The King of the Burning Anthems", "Pain Collector" and "Chimera". In 2011, Darzamat took a hiatus. The band returned in 2019 with the announcement of The Burning Kingdom, marking a new era without keyboards and featuring more complex guitar sounds.
