Enrico Pompili is an Italian pianist born in 1968 in Bolzano. He won several national competitions before receiving recognition at the Dublin International Piano Competition. In 1994, he received second prize at the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy Competition, and in 1995, he earned second prize at the XIII Paloma O'Shea Santander International Piano Competition. Pompili established his international career in 1996. His discography included the recording Castiglioni: Œuvres pour piano (2011), featuring the complete piano works of Niccolò Castiglioni. He recorded the complete piano works of Alberto Ginastera for the label Phoenix Classics. Pompili also released a collection of solo and two-piano works by American composer Michael Glenn Williams on the Stradivarius label. His career focused on both classical and contemporary repertoire.
