Zoey Van Goey self-released its debut album, The Cage Was Unlocked All Along (2009), which sold out its initial 1000 copies before being re-released by Chemikal Underground Records. The band’s second album, Propeller Versus Wings (2011), followed. Known for its eclectic sound, the band performed at festivals including T in the Park and the Wickerman Festival. In 2011, the group supported Belle and Sebastian on a European tour. The band stopped performing in 2012.
