Wave was a Canadian pop rock duo formed in Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1999. The group consisted of Dave Thomson and Paul Gigliotti. Wave gained initial recognition with their debut album Nothing as It Seems, released in 2001 via Warner Music Canada. The album achieved gold certification and featured the Top 10 radio hits “California” and “Think It Over”. Their follow-up album, State of Mind, was released in 2002 but did not achieve similar success. Wave disbanded in 2003, with Thomson and Gigliotti pursuing separate careers. The duo reunited briefly in 2016 for a single show in their hometown.
