Dana Rayne, born on March 5, 1981, in Long Island, New York, is an American singer. She began her career as a DJ in New York before transitioning into singing. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Object of My Desire", a Eurotrance cover of Starpoint's popular dance tune from the mid-1980s. This single reached Number 7 on the UK Singles Chart in January 2005, marking her entry into the mainstream music scene. The success of "Object of My Desire" was significant for Rayne as it established her presence on the American club scene and beyond. Following this success, Rayne collaborated with various artists, including Jeannie Ortega, Lucas Prata, and Dose of Fulanito. Her subsequent releases include Flying High (EP), which, although never officially released as a single, was included in some dance compilation albums. She also released the singles "Make It On My Own" in 2008 and "Overload" in 2010. Dana Rayne went on to join forces with Lane McCray, an original member of La Bouche, with whom she continued her work as a live performer.
