Trained at Stockholm's National Academy of Music, mezzo-soprano Ann Hallenberg (b. 1967) made her international debut in the late 1990s. Specializing in the Baroque repertoire, she performs operas by Handel and Vivaldi, alongside such renowned conductors as Emmanuelle Haïm, John Eliot Gardiner, Roger Norrington, Marc Minkowski, Fabio Biondi and Alan Curtis. In addition to numerous stage performances in major opera houses, his discography focuses mainly on his favourite composers(Le Triomphe du temps, Tolomeo, Ezio for Handel; Orlando Furioso, Tito Manlio and L'Oracolo for Vivaldi). 2012 saw the publication of the recital Arias for Marietta Marcolini. Three years later, following further stage successes, the collection Agrippina: Graun - Haendel - Perti - Porpora was released, recorded with conductor Riccardo Minasi.
