The Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, founded in 2000 and based in Bratislava, Slovakia, is a symphony orchestra led by Spanish conductor David Hernando Rico. The ensemble, composed entirely of Slovakian musicians, quickly established itself as a versatile group, performing classical works alongside film scores and pop arrangements. Their repertoire includes notable collaborations on soundtracks for films such as 800 Balas (2002), En la ciudad sin límites (2002), and Al sur de Granada (2003), the last of which earned them the Goya Award for Best Original Score in 2003. Additionally, they have contributed to various television series and projects, including collaborations with Nokia for their album 'Miniatures' Orchestral Ringtones (2013).
