Shawn Yue is a Hong Kong actor and Cantopop singer born Shawn Yue Man-lok on November 13, 1981. He established a career as a model for brands including Sony and Timberland before making his acting debut in the television series Youth@Y2K (2000) and Y2K+01 (2001). Yue appeared in the Taiwanese series Tomorrow (2002) and portrayed Takeshi Nakazato in the film Initial D (2005). His musical career featured the release of the extended plays Private Room (2002), Lost and Found (2003), and The Survivor (2004). He also recorded the studio albums Whether or Not (2005) and Not a Star (2011). Yue received the silver award for Best New Male Artist at the 2002 RTHK Top 10 Gold Songs Awards and won a Rising Star Song award for “Return Your Keys”. His film career included roles in the Infernal Affairs trilogy.
