Maike Rosa Vogel is a German singer-songwriter. Raised in a politically aware household, Vogel’s early influences included classical music and politically engaged songs. At age 14, she formed her first punk band with a friend, marking the beginning of her musical journey. After studying at the Pop Academy in Germany, she released her self-produced debut album Golden in 2008 on the Berlin label Salon Mondial. Her second album, Unvollkommen (Imperfect), was produced by Sven Regener and released in 2011. Vogel has collaborated with notable figures such as Michael Glawogger for the film Whores’ Glory (2011) and Mathias Schönsee on various theater productions. She received the Förderpreis der Liederbestenliste in 2013. Her later albums include Trotzdem Gut (2015), Alles Was Ich Will (2018), and Eine Wirklichkeit (2020).
