Catalina Ciortea is a Romanian indie soul pop singer and bassist who has been experimenting with her musical style in Berlin, drawing inspiration from artists such as Florence + The Machine, FKA Twigs and Lana del Rey, using music as an extension of herself. The complex feelings of being a stranger in a foreign country, love, heartbreak and womanhood are beautifully packaged in soulful, melancholic and whimsical sounds.
